Design for Manufacture

SLA

SLA or Stereolithography produces accurate models from a photopolymer. The resulting prototypes are suitable for form, fit and function testing as well as casting patterns for metal and advanced urethane castings.

SLS

SLS or >Selective Laser Sintering provides accurate models from a sintered nylon powder. The resulting pieces are suitable for either rapid prototypes or for direct digital manufactured parts. They can be used for form, fit and function testing as well as limited run production. This is commonly used for Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM) due to the yield strength and impact resistance of the parent materials. These parts are often used for aerospace applications.

Tooling

Through our extensive network of manufacturers, Halberg offers low investment cost tooling. This combined with expert knowledge of International manufacturing capabilities allows customers to fast track their prototype to a mass produced consumer product.

Injection Moulding

Halberg Injection Moulding offers our customers the ability to manufacture their products at a much lower CAPEX than comparative companies in Australia. By leveraging our international contacts we can offer high precision, low cost mass produced parts.
